Chocolate Cake with DeliXia®

Ingredients:
150 g Manitoba flour
6 eggs
100 g butter
80 g sugar
80 g squares dark chocolate
2 teaspoons baking powder
400 g Milk Caramel DeliXia®
Powdered sugar to decorate




Break the chocolate into small lumps and then put it into a heatproof bowl within a gently simmering saucepan of water.
Leave it to cool slightly.
Whisk egg whites. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the melted chocolate, egg yolks, whisked eggs, flour, vanilla and baking powder.
Transfer to a cake pan and bake at 180°C, approximately 80 minutes.
When cake is cool, use a long serrated knife to cut the cake horizontally into 2 equal layers.
Spread milk or brandy on one side of each layer and fill with Milk Caramel DeliXia®.
Dust the top with powdered sugar, or spread the top surface and sides with DeliXia®.
